Mr. Gross is a founding member of the firm and was elected its president in 2003. An experienced civil litigator, Mr. Gross has, for more than thirty years, represented individuals and business organizations in all phases of civil litigation, including business litigation, disputes among members of closely-held entities, complex real estate litigation and numerous personal injury cases and disputed divorce matters. Mr. Gross has been selected, both privately and appointed by the court, to serve as an arbitrator in commercial and real estate disputes. He is an attorney state trial referee and a fact finder/arbitrator for the Judicial District of Fairfield. He recently obtained a judgment in excess of $1,600,000.00 in federal court in Connecticut in the matter of Hudson Pak Establishment vs. Shelter for the Homeless, Inc., et al , docket no. 91CV00468(AWT), which matter was recently affirmed by the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit (docket no. 05-22112).

Mr. Gross is a member of numerous professional organizations including a sustaining membership in the Bridgeport Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association where he is member of the Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section and Family Law Section and the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association. For many years, Mr. Gross has believed in giving back to the community and is involved in civic affairs in lower Fairfield County including the vice-chairmanship of the Trumbull Ethics Commission where he continues to serve and has served since 2002. He is a past member of the Trumbull Town Council and served as a member of the United States Commission on Civil Rights. In addition, he is a past president of the Jewish Center for Community Services and also served as the president of the Probus Club of Greater Bridgeport.

Mr. Gross was born New York City but was raised in Fairfield, Connecticut and currently resides with his wife in Trumbull. He is a 1969 graduate of Middlebury College where he earned a B.A. in history and he received a J.D. degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1972.

Mr. Rost specializes in representing clients in commercial and residential real estate transactions, business law transactions and probate matters. For over thirty years he has helped clients purchase, sell, finance, refinance and lease homes and commercial properties; form, purchase, sell and restructure business entities; and probate and settle estates in the Connecticut Probate Courts. He has also represented many clients in the formation and completion of condominium projects in order to sell units in the residential market. Mr. Rost's extensive experience and proficiency in commercial matters has resulted in his currently representing Newtown Savings Bank in various loan transactions to commercial owners of real estate within Fairfield and New Haven counties.

Mr. Rost is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and Bridgeport Bar Association. He is a past instructor in Business Law at Fairfield University having taught the basic principles of business law to undergraduate and graduate students for five years. In addition he has served on the Board of Directors of the Jewish Center for Community Services, having held the offices of President, Vice President and Treasurer. He is also a past President of the Probus Club of Greater Bridgeport. Over the years Mr. Rost has volunteered his time and provided legal services to many other local charitable organizations resulting in numerous awards in recognition of his charitable endeavors.

While having been born in New York, New York, Mr. Rost has resided in Connecticut for over sixty years. He graduated from Bowdoin College prior to attending Boston University School of Law where he received his J.D. degree in 1968. Mr. Rost also taught mathematics for one year in the middle school in Monroe, Connecticut, and having previously played college basketball and soccer, he coached jr. high school students on a part-time basis.

Mr. Green concentrates his practice in general civil and commercial litigation and land use matters. With more than twenty five years of experience, Mr. Green has successfully brought and defended hundreds of cases on behalf of individual and corporate clients at both the trial and appellate level.

In his land use practice, Mr. Green has appeared before planning and zoning commissions, inland wetland commissions, zoning boards of appeals, historic district commissions and other land use and development-related agencies throughout Fairfield and New Haven Counties. He has also tried land use appeals in the Connecticut courts. Most recently, Mr. Green has represented a number of individuals, neighborhood and community groups in opposing massive and inappropriate development projects in neighborhoods throughout northern Fairfield County.

Mr. Green is also very active in civic affairs in the greater Bridgeport area as a member of several community and neighborhood organizations and associations. Mr. Green is a member of the Board of Directors of Sullivan McKinney Elder Housing and served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Operation Hope of Fairfield, an organization dedicated to providing innovative solutions to homelessness where he is presently a member of the Advisory Board. In 2008, Mr. Green was elected to the Board of Commissioners of the Bridgeport Downtown Special Services District, a special taxing district serving the City's downtown.

Mr. Green held elected office as a five-term member of the Representative Town Meeting of the Town of Fairfield from 1997 through 2007 and was elected and served as Moderator from 2001 through 2007. As a member of the RTM, Mr. Green served on the Legislation and Administration Committee and the Public Works and Planning Committee. In 1995, Mr. Green was first elected and continues to serve on Fairfield Democratic Town Committee and was a District Leader from 2000 through 2005. In 2004, Mr. Green was presented the Eunice Postol Community Service Award by the Fairfield Democratic Town Committee for his many years of dedicated service to the Fairfield community.

Mr. Green is a member of several professional organizations including the Bridgeport Bar Association where is a Sustaining Member, The Connecticut Bar Association where he is a Member of The Land Use and Planning Section and The Litigation Section and The Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association.

Mr. Green was born and raised in the Bridgeport area and currently resides in Fairfield with his wife and two daughters. Mr. Green graduated from Clark University in 1979 where he received a B.A. in Geography. Mr. Green received his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1982.

Barbara Green, a member of the firm since 1990, concentrates her practice in the areas of family law, probate administration (including trusts, estates, conservatorships, and guardianships), estate planning and elder law. Much of her practice is devoted to assisting persons with disabilities (and their family members) to establish special needs trusts. Ms. Green is admitted to practice law in Connecticut and Ohio. She is a member of professional organizations including the Bridgeport Bar Association, having previously served as chairperson of its estates and probate section, and the Connecticut Bar Association, in which she is a member of the trusts and estates and elder sections.

Like her partners, Ms. Green is involved in many community organizations and activities. She previously served as the Chairperson for the Annual Campaign of the Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven (JFGNH) and has long served as a member of that organization's Board of Directors. In the past, she also served as the President of the Jewish Federation’s Women’s Division, Chairperson of the JFGNH Planning and Allocations Committee and as a Co-chairperson of its 2002 Israeli Emergency Campaign.

Ms. Green has served on the Board of Directors for the International Institute of Connecticut since 2009 and is currently serving as Secretary.

Ms. Green has been an active volunteer with the Kennedy Center, Inc. of Trumbull, Connecticut. She has served as a member and officer of its Board of Directors since 1994 and was Chairman of its Board of Directors from 2002 through 2004. She has in the past served on the Advisory Board for the Southwest Region of the Department of Mental Retardation and has, since 2000, been a member of the Legal Advisory Board for Planned Lifetime Assistance Network, Inc.

Ms. Green was raised in the Bridgeport area, lived in New Haven for many years and recently relocated to Milford. She graduated with honors from Connecticut College in 1976 and earned a Masters Degree from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work in 1978 and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 1985.

Attorney Laske represents clients in zoning and land use law, commercial litigation, and matters involving administrative agencies, and frequently handles appeals in those areas. She has argued before the Connecticut Supreme and Appellate Courts and has authored dozens of appellate briefs.

Attorney Laske enjoys volunteering in her community, including with the National Charity League where she served as her chapter’s Parliamentarian.

Linda is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law (J.D., 1993) and Wesleyan University (B.A., 1989). She holds a Certificate in Mediation from the UConn Labor Education Center/Quinnipiac Law School and is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association (Zoning Section) and the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association.
