Mr. Green concentrates his practice in general civil and commercial litigation and land use matters. With more than twenty five years of experience, Mr. Green has successfully brought and defended hundreds of cases on behalf of individual and corporate clients at both the trial and appellate level.

In his land use practice, Mr. Green has appeared before planning and zoning commissions, inland wetland commissions, zoning boards of appeals, historic district commissions and other land use and development-related agencies throughout Fairfield and New Haven Counties. He has also tried land use appeals in the Connecticut courts. Most recently, Mr. Green has represented a number of individuals, neighborhood and community groups in opposing massive and inappropriate development projects in neighborhoods throughout northern Fairfield County.

Mr. Green is also very active in civic affairs in the greater Bridgeport area as a member of several community and neighborhood organizations and associations. Mr. Green is a member of the Board of Directors of Sullivan McKinney Elder Housing and served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Operation Hope of Fairfield, an organization dedicated to providing innovative solutions to homelessness where he is presently a member of the Advisory Board. In 2008, Mr. Green was elected to the Board of Commissioners of the Bridgeport Downtown Special Services District, a special taxing district serving the City's downtown.

Mr. Green held elected office as a five-term member of the Representative Town Meeting of the Town of Fairfield from 1997 through 2007 and was elected and served as Moderator from 2001 through 2007. As a member of the RTM, Mr. Green served on the Legislation and Administration Committee and the Public Works and Planning Committee. In 1995, Mr. Green was first elected and continues to serve on Fairfield Democratic Town Committee and was a District Leader from 2000 through 2005. In 2004, Mr. Green was presented the Eunice Postol Community Service Award by the Fairfield Democratic Town Committee for his many years of dedicated service to the Fairfield community.

Mr. Green is a member of several professional organizations including the Bridgeport Bar Association where is a Sustaining Member, The Connecticut Bar Association where he is a Member of The Land Use and Planning Section and The Litigation Section and The Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association.

Mr. Green was born and raised in the Bridgeport area and currently resides in Fairfield with his wife and two daughters. Mr. Green graduated from Clark University in 1979 where he received a B.A. in Geography. Mr. Green received his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1982.
